Rainy Day’s

Case Study

Description

This project describes a special bond between a cat and a dog. Most animal don’t have a place to live and they find their own shelter and habitat to be. Many animals are abandon or lost and most people don’t realize what it’s like being homeless. I wanted theses two animals to gain a special trust feeling with each other and learn how to live in the real world.

Strategy’s

My strategy’s begins with listing out my ideals on a note book. I had a list of scenes I wanted to do at first I wanted my cat to be stuck in a fence but I decided to have it stranded outside.

I had the idea of the rainy day from watching a movie and I had to look up videos on rain effects and images. I also learned how to create a walk cycle for an animal.

Challenges

I dealt with many challenges during this animation process it took me a lot of patience and research to teach myself how to use the flash program. One of the hardest things I did was creating a walk cycle for an animal. The animal has extra legs which requires more movements and drawings I needed to work on . Another challenge is creating a symbol I had a hard time remembering how to create one but I manage to solve it myself and ask other class members for help. This semester was the first time I used adobe animate and I’ve learned so much it wasn’t easy but I manage to figure stuff out.

Effectiveness

overall the rainy day animation would have to be my favorite project because I’ve learned so much and improved from the beginning when I didn’t know what flash was. My drawings have improved and I learned how to solve my own problems with adobe.
